Position Summary

Hill Country Premier Lodging is seeking experienced, dependable independent housekeeping vendors to complete vacation-rental cleanings.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with compensation paid per completed cleaning- not an hourly employee position. Contractors may be offered assignments based on property needs, quality performance, and overall business demand.

Each accepted assignment includes property information, completion requirements, and the established cleaning rate. This opportunity is best suited for an individual cleaner or established cleaning business that can work independently, meet firm guest-arrival deadlines, and consistently deliver 5-star results.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete thorough vacation-rental turnover cleanings by the required completion time.

• Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces.

• Make beds and arrange linens according to property standards.

• Restock designated guest and household supplies.

• Follow property-specific cleaning instructions and checklists.

• Report time-sensitive property concerns promptly.

• Submit required completion photos and updates through the designated property-management platform.

• Maintain clear and timely communication regarding accepted assignments.

• Address verified cleaning deficiencies in accordance with the vendor agreement.

Required Qualifications

• Dependable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned properties

• Strong attention to detail and a consistent standard of cleanliness

• A smartphone with reliable service and the ability to use a mobile property-management application

• Reliable communication and prompt reporting of property concerns

• Ability to complete accepted assignments within required turnover deadlines

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of cleaning, including standing, bending, lifting, carrying supplies, making beds, and navigating stairs

• Availability during common vacation-rental turnover hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous short-term rental, vacation-rental, hotel or hospitality experience

• Experience using Breezeway or a similar property-management or task-management application

  General liability insurance

• Experience managing multiple cleaning assignments or properties

• Professional references from property managers, homeowners, or cleaning clients

COMPENSATION

Hourly Rate: $25 - $35

Position Type: 1099 Contract
