We are looking for a Seasonal Laundry Production Attendant to support our wash plant operations during the busy vacation rental season. This position is focused on the processing of laundry inside the wash plant and does not include packing linen bags for individual homes.
The Laundry Production Attendant will assist with sorting, washing, drying, folding, organizing, and staging clean linens and towels as they move through the production process. This role is important to keeping the laundry facility operating efficiently and ensuring clean items are ready to support housekeeping and property turn operations.
Receive and sort incoming laundry by item type, condition, and processing needs.
Load and unload commercial washers and dryers.
Move laundry carts safely throughout the wash plant.
Assist with folding, stacking, organizing, and staging clean linens and towels.
Help maintain production flow between washing, drying, folding, and staging areas.
Identify and report stained, damaged, or unusable linen items.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Follow company standards for laundry handling, cleanliness, safety, and quality control.
Support the laundry team with other wash plant duties as needed during peak season.
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and move laundry carts and linen loads.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, warehouse, or production experience is helpful but not required.
Hourly Compensation: $17

This is a seasonal role supporting increased laundry volume during peak vacation rental season.
Hours and schedule Sunday - Thursday
Location: Port St. Joe, FL
Assist housekeepers with linen pick-up and drop-off during high-volume turnover days
Safely transport clean and soiled linens between our laundry and packing facilities using a company box truck
Support the linen packing team with staging, sorting, and moving loads
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of transport vehicle
Communicate effectively with the laundry manager and housekeeping team to ensure route accuracy and linen counts
Help ensure timely linen delivery to meet strict check-in schedules
Assist with other tasks around the facility as needed during non-turn days
Key Responsibilities
Assist housekeepers with linen pick-up and drop-off on turnover days
Load, deliver, and retrieve clean and soiled linens between our facilities using a company box truck
Support the packing team with staging, sorting, and prepping linen loads
Keep linen moving efficiently to meet daily deadlines and check-in schedules
Communicate with managers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Help maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of transport vehicle
Pitch in with other duties around the facility as needed
What We’re Looking For
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
Comfortable operating a box truck (26 ft); prior experience preferred, but we’ll train the right candidate
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive physical work in hot or fast-paced environments
Dependable and punctual — especially on critical turnover days (Thursday through Monday)
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a team-first mindset
Willingness to follow established routes and transport schedules between facilities
Able to work in a fast-moving environment and be fast.
