We’re hiring a Property Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our vacation rental portfolio in Union Pier, MI. This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for property inspections, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring homes are guest-ready at all times.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts. You’ll act as a key link between guests, vendors, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Conduct routine property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standards are met
Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors
Serve as a point of contact for guests during their stay, resolving issues quickly and professionally
Support and help guide field staff including housekeepers and maintenance technicians
Monitor and restock property supplies and amenities
Ensure properties remain compliant with local regulations and safety standards
Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and guest feedback
Respond to urgent issues and assist with emergency situations as needed
Coordinate ongoing property upkeep including cleaning and landscaping services
Build and manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely service
Previous experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
Compensation: $17 - 20 per hour

Responsibilities:
Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of rental properties to ensure they meet company standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and safety.
Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate maintenance and repairs for rental properties as needed, liaising with maintenance technicians, contractors, and vendors to address issues promptly.
Guest Communication: Serve as a point of contact for guests during their stay, addressing any concerns or issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
Team Support: Assist in supervising field staff, including housekeepers and maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as required.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of supplies and amenities at each property, ensuring timely restocking and replenishment.
Compliance: Ensure rental properties comply with local regulations and ordinances, including health and safety standards and zoning requirements.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of property inspections, maintenance activities, and guest feedback, providing regular reports to management on property performance and maintenance needs.
Emergency Response: Develop and implement procedures for responding to emergencies at rental properties, including after-hours issues and guest emergencies.
Property Upkeep: Coordinate regular cleaning, landscaping, and other upkeep services to maintain the curb appeal and overall appearance of rental properties.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
Requirements:
Previous experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of local regulations and ordinances related to property management preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
