Amelia Island Getaways is seeking a detail-driven and hands-on Lead Housekeeping Inspector to ensure our vacation rental properties consistently deliver a five-star guest experience. In this role, you’ll take ownership of property readiness—conducting thorough inspections, identifying issues before they impact guests, and upholding the standards that define our brand. You’ll also train and guide fellow inspectors, helping ensure consistency, accountability, and quality across the team.

You’ll move between inspections, light maintenance tasks, supply coordination, and final touches that transform a clean home into a truly guest-ready space. Lead and train inspection team members to ensure consistent execution of company standards, policies, and procedures
Conduct detailed guest and owner arrival inspections, ensuring every property meets or exceeds AIG quality standards
Identify, document, and communicate property issues through Breezeway, coordinating follow-up across maintenance, housekeeping, and operations
Perform light maintenance tasks including replacing bulbs, batteries, and filters to maintain readiness between stays
Maintain organized inspection areas and proactively manage inventory levels, notifying leadership of supply needs
Prepare and stage essential items including amenity kits, linens, and supply packs to support cleaning and turnover efficiency
Coordinate and deliver property supplies and guest-requested items, ensuring accurate tracking for billing and accountability
Support property readiness by assisting with turnover prep including bed setup, trash removal, cleaning, and finishing touches
Maintain clean, organized office and storage spaces, including handling deliveries and supply organization
Assist with supply runs, returns, and inventory logistics to keep operations running smoothly
Foster a positive, accountable, and high-energy team environment within the inspection department
Deliver professional, courteous service to guests and homeowners, reinforcing AIG's commitment to exceptional experiences
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must live in Yulee or Fernandina Beach, FL
Must meet physical requirements and is capable of performing laborious work in varied conditions. Must be able to lift 25-35lbs regularly.

Conduct training and ongoing training to ensure other inspectors adhere to standards, policies, and work procedures.
Perform scheduled guest or owner inspections to ensure all properties meet or exceed Amelia Island Getaways standards.
Utilize Breezeway to report any issues which need attention at AIG properties (maintenance, repairs, housekeeping, landscaping, inventory, furnishings, etc.)
Responsible for light property maintenance, such as changing lightbulbs (within reach), batteries, filters, and other light maintenance duties as necessary or as instructed by property owner or manager.
Required to keep inspectors’ area neat and organized. Make note of inventory and advise the manager if supplies are needed.
Responsible for making and stocking kitchen and bathroom amenity bags.
Responsible for packing laundry for cleaners.
Assist with delivering property supply items and reporting appropriately for billing purposes. This can include running bedspreads, shower curtain/ liners, sheets or towels, missing amenities, parking passes, etc. Also can include an item that an in-house guest is asking for if assigned.
Maintain a positive, high-energy team atmosphere in the inspection department.
Assist as needed with property prepping to include but not limited to stripping and making beds, pulling trash from departing guests, launder misc. items in properties, dusting, and grill cleaning to prepare home for housekeepers.
Keep office space tidy and organized. This can include taking out trash, unpacking deliveries and breaking down boxes, vacuuming occasionally, etc.
Picking up supplies from the store when necessary and reporting appropriately for billing purposes.
Initiating returns on supplies when necessary.
Provide courteous and professional customer service to the guests and clients of Amelia Island Getaways.
