Halo Hospitality is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to support the daily operations of our Housekeeping Department and help ensure every property is guest-ready. The primary focus of this role is processing, organizing, and preparing linens for our vacation rental portfolio while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient laundry operation.
Working under the guidance of the Housekeeping Manager, this position plays a critical role in maintaining the inventory of clean, sanitized, and properly prepared linens needed for guest turnovers. This role will also assist with turnover cleanings, seasonal deep cleans, and other housekeeping support as needed. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Collect, sort, and organize soiled linens by color, size, and level of soil
Identify and pre-treat stains using appropriate chemicals and cleaning techniques
Load and unload commercial washing machines and dryers
Accurately measure and add detergents, bleach, fabric softeners, and other laundry supplies
Fold, organize, and store clean linens according to company standards
Prepare linen bags and supplies for housekeeping teams based on property-specific needs
Maintain laundry equipment by cleaning machines and emptying lint traps daily
Monitor inventory levels of detergents, bleach, linen bags, and other laundry supplies
Assist with ordering and restocking supplies as needed
Sweep, mop, remove trash, and maintain a clean and hazard-free laundry facility
Support housekeeping operations by assisting with turnover cleanings when needed
Assist with seasonal deep-cleaning and special projects across the property portfolio
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospitality-focused laundry environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet daily production goals
Ability to recognize different linen types, identify stains, and inspect items for damage
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the workday
Reliable transportation for travel to and from work and between properties as needed
Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
Experience in professional housekeeping, preferably within hospitality or vacation rentals
Experience working with commercial laundry equipment
Familiarity with inventory management and supply tracking
$18.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on experience

Housekeeping: Fill in as needed by performing turnover cleans at our various properties
Experience: Two years in a hospitality focused laundry environment
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs without assistance.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet daily linen quotas in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: Ability to recognize different size and types of lines, and spot stains or damaged items.
Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work as well as between properties is a must.
