We empower our leaders to innovate, build scalable systems, and raise the bar. As we grow, we are hiring a Director of Finance & Accounting to strengthen our trust accounting infrastructure, ensure compliance, and create financial clarity across a rapidly expanding portfolio.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As our Director of Finance and Accounting, you will own Trust and Business accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and property management accounting while strengthening controls, supporting audits, and improving system automation within Escapia a (PMS) and ERP system.
Success means efficient workflows, real-time financial visibility, and systems that scale as the portfolio grows.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead all trust accounting operations and maintain full regulatory compliance
Manage, mentor, and develop the remote accounting team
Oversee accounts receivable, guest payments, deposits, refunds, and folio accuracy
Own reconciliations and produce weekly, monthly, and annual reports
Ensure accuracy of owner statements and distributions
Manage TOT taxes, city filings, licenses, and audit readiness
Oversee vendor, real estate, and travel advisor payables
Improve workflows and automation within Escapia
Build scalable SOPs, KPIs, and financial playbooks
Partner with leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
Lead year-end processes, including 1099s and inventory reconciliation
Respond quickly to financial questions through Slack, Asana, and internal systems
Managing a team of 5 employees in the accounting department.
Overseeing all financial statements and ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting protocols and SOPs.
Collaborating closely with the company CPA and CFO on year-end tax preparation, owner’s equity distribution, and year-end closing.
Support Accounting manager with : Business Insurance policy's Renewals , Payroll , Team Bonuses ,1099, Financial statements ,401k And department development
QUALIFICATIONS:
4+ years of accounting director level experience in property management, real estate, Vacation Rentals, hospitality
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Knowledge of GAAP, audits, and internal controls
Strong background in reconciliations, audits, and compliance
Experience with Escapia, Guesty, Streamline, or similar PMS platforms
Proven leader of high-performing accounting teams
Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Advanced user of tools such as QuickBooks,NetSuite,Excel,Asana, Slack and workflow systems
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to move quickly and accurately and manage multi project and tasks
Clear communicator who collaborates well across departments
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Salary: $105,000 - 135,000 based on experience
Bonus:
Monthly performance bonus of 10 to 20 percent after a 90-day probation period, tied to goal achievement and management approval

●Manage and oversee the remote team on accounting specialists to reassure the timely and accurate completion of all accounting related tasks including:
Improve processes and create SOPs
Oversee the company’s day-to-day transactions
● Update and maintain the organization's Quickbooks
● Maintain Escapia Reservation and all associated transactions
● Reconciliation all of the company’s finances, such as banks and associated cards
(if not completed by or CPA )-
● Work closely alongside the Operations team, CPA’s as well as upper
Management
● Communicate and interact in a positive and professional manner at all times
● Serve as the primary contact with our clients and vendors while representing
the Maimon Group, showcasing the culture that is exceptionally
compassionate and empathetic
● Accurately record and document expenses on rentals and bookings through
our Operating Systems
● Manage a multitude of payments while maintaining and monitoring
reservations
● Manage, submit, and pay the organization's booking Transient Occupancy
Taxes and Nightly Taxes to the appropriate recipient promptly
● Process payroll
● Generate deposit return reports and return security deposit funds to
customers in a timely manner
● Efficiently calculate agent commissions and confirmed
● Create/maintain a monthly exclusive owner-report
● Coordinate wire and ACH payments for all Accounts Payable
● Effectively contact vendors to obtain required W9's and Vandores contacts
● Create and update vendor lists and reports in Escapia PMS (Property
Management Software)
● Support all 3rd party reconciliation needs for homeowners, management, and
vendors as needed
● Support onboarding tasks for new employees and vendors, as assigned
through BambooHR
● Support supplies ordering and manage unit costs and charges on Breezeway
● Manage recurring office and operations monthly charges and subscriptions,
such as health insurance, property utilities, car payments, office expenses,
etc.
● Support Accounting recruitment as needed
● Manage checkbook and credit card ordering
● Manage employees’ assets assignment on BambooHR
● Monitor and Process all ongoing COGS and Operations expenses
● Update all AP and AR through Breezeway Escapia and all platforms
● Manage office Cash on hands and all Related bank accounts
● Support LPMS and all related new associated companies and barnacles.
● Knowledge and experience with Trust accounting
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
● Knowledge of high level of accounting, financial statements, and reconciliation
● 3 Years minimum experiences with Quickbooks Online
● College degree preferred, but not required
● Experience in working with Escapia PMS (Property Management Software) - training will be provided as needed
● Possess the physical ability to go out into the field for in-person as well as
online training to support the onboarding process
● Adaptable and teachable in regards to new platforms in an ever-evolving
