RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and drink orders, and ensure ongoing satisfaction throughout their visit.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all menu items, confidently answer guest questions about preparation and ingredients, and make recommendations tailored to individual tastes.
Utilize Aloha (POS system) for seamless order entry, maintain accurate financial transactions, and ensure the station is always ready by handling opening/closing duties, bar inventories, and daily requisitions.
Assist fellow team members, from setting up for parties to ensuring a harmonious and productive working environment.
Maintain a presentable appearance in accordance with dress code requirements and exhibit a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
Thrive in a fast-paced, noisy environment with the ability to multitask, from bussing tables to managing a diverse range of guest needs and preferences.
Engage actively in listening to guests and colleagues, communicate effectively, and always bring a friendly demeanor with a passion for the craft and guest experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 21 years or older
Able to work in environments with both hot and cold temperatures, such as freezers and around cooking equipment
Able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
Able to read and write handwritten notes
Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Able to move around the facility and stand for long periods of time (will be walking or standing 100% of shift) as well as reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently.
Must be able to read and communicate in English

Creates a fun, sincere atmosphere for guests and team members
Follows all company sanitation procedures
Maintains responsibility for personal bank and ensures all financial transactions are accurate by operating credit card machines correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change, and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change.
Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
Assesses guest demeanor and identifies when behavior should be called to the attention of a Manager
Follows all bar recipes to deliver a consistent product, control costs, and maximize guest satisfaction
Keeps station clean
Greets newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
Accurately takes guests’ food and drink orders
Maintains a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
Enters orders quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate modifications and charges
Responsible for all sales and completing station side work at the beginning and end of their shift
Must demonstrate ability to operate Aloha, make change, accurately conduct credit card transactions, and account of all monies at the end of each shift
Completes bar inventories and daily requisition sheets as requested and required
Completes opening/closing duties in a timely manner
Assists in party set up and breakdown
Assists other team members as needed or as business dictates
Busses and resets tables as needed
Ensures ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, pre‐bussing as necessary, and responding to guest needs in a timely manner
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate and help keep high morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness
Listen to hear guests’ orders and needs, and then communicate with guests verbally and with other team members
Must be friendly and able to smile frequently
Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred, but not required
Must be skilled in effectively communicating with guests in order to generate enthusiasm
Dressed in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
