Position Summary

Lumina is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Vacation Rental Cleaner to keep our Palm Springs properties spotless and guest-ready. We need someone who takes pride in thorough cleaning, notices when something needs attention, and is comfortable using a mobile app to document completed work.

This is a part-time independent contractor position with a flexible schedule. Same-day turnover availability is required, including weekends and holidays as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Thoroughly clean and prepare vacation rental properties between guest stays, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas

• Change linens, make beds, handle laundry as assigned, and restock guest supplies

• Use Breezeway, our property operations software, to follow cleaning checklists, review instructions, and mark tasks complete

• Take and upload clear photos showing completed cleaning and the condition of each property

• Inspect properties during each visit and promptly report damage, missing items, maintenance concerns, or anything requiring attention

• Complete a final walkthrough to ensure each property is fully prepared before guests arrive

• Communicate promptly regarding availability, progress, and potential delays

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning Airbnb, vacation rental, hotel, or residential properties

• Excellent attention to detail and a consistent, thorough approach to cleaning

• Comfortable using smartphone apps, following digital checklists, and uploading photos

• Willing and able to learn Breezeway

• Smartphone with a working camera and reliable internet access

• Reliable transportation and a strong record of punctuality

• Availability for same-day turnovers between guest checkout and check-in, including weekends and holidays as needed

• Ability to work independently and follow property-specific instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using Breezeway or similar property operations software

Compensation, Schedule & Location

Compensation: $15 - $30 an hour

Schedule: Part-time and flexible, with same-day turnover availability required
